Writing boards, office screens and acoustic panels have for decades been the anonymous workhorses of schools and meeting rooms. We are changing that. By working with some of Scandinavia’s best designers we give writable surfaces a restrained, functional beauty in tempered glass, textile, wood and enamelled steel, and make them a pleasure to use.

Our products do not appear from anonymous manufacturers on the other side of the world. They are made in the factory in Nybro, in a region known for ingenuity and Swedish glass. Here the boards are built with craft combined with clever machines: textile is cut and stretched by hand, oak frames are mitred so precisely that only the fingertips can feel the joint, and every part passes through many hands before it leaves the building.

The roof carries 4,400 solar panels. Delivery often takes two weeks, sometimes two days. Roughly three quarters of what we make leaves Sweden.

Lintex is owned and run by the same family that founded it in 1983. That makes us slow in a way we are proud of: we build for decades, not quarters. The factory has run on its own solar power since 2019, the products are made to be repaired and taken back, and everything we do is reported openly in the sustainability report.
