Every board carries one of two surfaces: enamelled ceramic steel — matte, glare-free and highly magnetic — or tempered optical glass in 24 colours, glossy Mood or matte Silk Glass®. Both are made to be written on, wiped and written on again, every day for decades.

The boards are designed together with Scandinavia’s leading designers and made in our own factory in Nybro, in the heart of Småland — which is why a Lintex board feels more like a piece of furniture than a piece of office equipment.

What is the difference between glass and ceramic steel?

Glassboards have a writing surface of tempered optical glass — deep, glossy and completely free from ghosting. Ceramic steel is enamelled steel: matte, glare-free and highly magnetic. Both surfaces are built for decades of daily use.

Are the boards magnetic?

Yes. Ceramic steel carries standard magnets directly, and our glassboards are magnet-bearing — use neodymium magnets for the best hold.

Can I choose the size, colour and frame?

Every product page has a configurator where you choose the size, a glass colour from our 24 standard colours and the frame — and save the configuration to your list.

How do I choose the right board for the room?

Start with the surface: glass for depth and colour, ceramic steel for glare-free writing, textile and acoustics for the sound environment. If you want guidance, contact us and we will start from your room.
