Fredrik Mattson

Fredrik Mattson is a furniture designer and interior architect who graduated from Konstfack in 2002. For Lintex, he designed Note, a writing board that can be carried from room to room.

Before studying furniture design and interior architecture at Konstfack in Stockholm, Mattson spent several years learning cabinet-making. His education spans both the craft of making furniture and the design of furniture and interiors.

Note has two magnetic porcelain steel writing surfaces and a lightweight honeycomb core. It can be hung on the wall brackets supplied or simply leaned against a wall for a spontaneous meeting. The low weight makes it easy to carry, so the same board can have a fixed place on the wall and be moved when needed.
