Matti Klenell

Klenell seeks a rich artistic expression within the limits of the production process. His approach echoes the craftsmen at the beginning of industrialisation, with the aim of giving each object character and personality. These explorations draw on the Nordic design tradition.

His designs for Lintex with Halleroed include Frame and Mood Fabric. Frame places glass within a softly rounded bentwood frame, which also serves as a pen tray on the wall version or a handle on the mobile board. Mood Fabric combines glass writing surfaces with textile, including versions with sound-absorbing panels.
